insurance claim question - 2 of my parked vehicles hit?

Two vehicles I own were parked back to back on the street here in CA and hit by another vehicle (I took pictures of the damages).  One was totaled and the other damaged but unsafe to drive.  I was inside my house when I heard the crash.  I have the insurance info of the other vehicle but did not call the police out.  No one was hurt.  I don't have collision insurance on either vehicle and was advised by my insurance agent to call their insurance to report that their insured hit my vehicles.  I gave a report to the claims agent and have a claim number.  Currently waiting for their insurance to make the next move but have not heard anything further from them yet.  I suspect the damages total around 6-7k ... What are my options at this point - any suggestions?
