My tips for a good friendster profile...
 Wink
  • Text should be clear and should match the color of the background..
    like maroon vs gold.. black vs white.. pink vs skyblue.. etc..
  • Fonts should be consistent.. Not too small, not too big..
  • Sorry, but too much videos, music background, games, blah blah blah!! they drive me crazy!!... hehe..
    They're soooooooo heavy in size.. who would want that? just one will do..
    But i do have a flash video (it's not that big).. lolz
  • Use *.jpeg *.jpg picture format.. with your images
  • Keep your profile simple and neat.
  • In backgrounf images.. Choose an image that has a theme. Not just a picture. It has to say something about you.
  • I hate pages with countless marquees.
  • Lastly, put some effort.. hehe

To have a good-looking user-friendly profile:

1) Make sure your profile is based on a THEME! Let's say you like Hello Kitty for instance. Don't simply insert a background of FInaL Fantasy while all your profile contents are based on Hello Kitty!

2) Be creative as possible! Try your best to design ur profile so that it would look different from others!

3) PLEASEEE avoid using way too much PIMP grafix, VIDEOS-OF-COURSE and flash games! This is very very annoying especially for dial-up users! Sometimes, even broadband users like me would experience browser crash / computer hang whenever viewing heavy-bandwidth profile(s)!

4) If you have a dark background, please make sure all your fonts are light-colored and make sure it is readable! Not forgetting, vice versa!

5) If possible, please check your profile with Internet Explorer, Firefox and even Opera because not everyone in this globe uses IE! By doing so, cross-browser compability issues could be solved! Wink

6) Try ur level best to implement web features such as hit counters, shoutbox, and etc. This would make your profile look 'professional'!

7) If your images are in PNG format and the file size are > 100Kb, change the format to JPG and reduce the quality level! Once again I repeat, not everyone are broadband users! Wink

 death yeah its true and just make it simple but total fad... that will make your viewers will enjoy and view it again and again....

 having a yellow and green for background thumbdown that is a no no nono

yeah ToO MuCh ViDeOs too  thumbdown thats another no no  no

just keep you files organize... dnt put too many annoying stuff like having an unmatch background on you testimonial,main,and in more about me...  Wink popcorn3dm

Another thing, dont copy other style..... Use your own "style" be creative..that will look different to other and be amaze to your effort... and another thing, dont be so boastfull to other if you think your profile is the best, think again,  because many forumer in here are looks better...so "keep your feet on the ground" ok.. that's all.. i hope i did not  offend others... that's only my opinion... i hope my english speaking is correct hehehe... Grin

i think for me a very good FS profile is not the layout or elsewhat...

the important thing is the profile itself..

i mean, it mirrors the whole you.. like movies u watched, books uve red, musics u love....etc...

and most important how u describe yer whole personality...

any FS layout is nothing while the profile itself is everything...

Do not remove or edit the credit link back if you use  premade layouts. I know one person here using premade layouts and he remove the credit links...... tsk tsk frustrating Embarrassed at first i was so impress to his so called "friendster profile"... as if he's the one who design the layouts! Ok Ok ppl enough!

It's their choices..
And if you chose to have a GOOD friendster profile using the latest enhancements of friendster then this is the right place.

i too goes with swet shiel... i just stick to simple basic codes..
so if i need to do some adjustment... i need not 2 bug other peepz.. just to pimp my page... i apply some codes that work for my page if its effective thanks if not its ok ... let it be...hahahaha... my page is so simple yet over decorated lol..
