ok so i did this lab where we had to insert a recombinant DNA into a bacterium (using paper materials) and there's this question that i don't get:
Would we have to repeat this genetic engineering for each new bacterium to produce millions of recombinant bacteria's? Explain why not.

...so basically it's asking why we don't need to repeat the process of inserting a recombinant DNA into a bacterium just for the bacterium to produce millions of recombinant bacteria's.

anybody?
