income / school appeal?

i applied for income support to receieve funding for College, I was ineligible and have to write an appeal if i wish to do so. I was rejected because i live with my parents, I don't work yet and my eligibility is based upon their income and they make over the amount required to be eligible which is 22,000. How can i write the letter? what can i say to state and show that, Although my parents make over the limit, they dont have the funds or resources to provide me with the money to do schooling. And that it has been affecting me depression wise, because i want to attend school, and dont have the money or resources to do so. any help would greatly be appreciated
