Missing out

I feel like im missing out quite a bit by not living in halls.
Everyone else ive spoken to seems to have developed these great friendships already with people they either live with or share their hall with and i'm just finding it quite hard to make conversation with people because we dont really have much in common. After the initial "hi im so and so whats you name/what course are you on/where are you living" ive got nothing to say after this... Sad

might be that ur putting a wall between those people around u...
they don't fit to ur taste..like they're too unperfect for u or somethin'..
unworthy to be ur friends....

It really depends on your personality. If you are the joker type, you'll most likely be approached by other people because they think you're funny. If you are the silent type, just try to talk to even just one person and befriend him/her. Chances are, s/he'll introduce you to his/her friends too.
